Two Delicions Pin-WINS!

Time for some food pinspirations.  Today's post highlights two back-to-back wins!

If you know me, you know how much I loooooove avocado.  You also probably know how much my daughter loves avocado.  How my son became a non-lover is beyond me.  I happened upon the first recipe when searching Pinterst for food ideas for an upcoming bridal shower brunch I'm hosting.  I'll just show you the pin and let it soak in:

BAKED.AVOCADO.FRIES.  I just happened to have five avocados sitting around so I had no choice but to try these.  Oh my word these were DIVINE!  Crunchy outside and warm, creamy avocado inside.  They were so good that dearest hubby and the little dude gobbled them up!  Yes, even my son was furiously signing for more of these.  Now I just need to find a suitable dip to go with these - something with a bit of kick.  Any suggestions?

What was win #2, you ask?  Breakfast.  Pancakes baked in mini muffin tins and filled with goodness:
The kiddos split their tastebud time between chocolate chips and blueberries, so we did half a dozen of each.  For the hubs and I - cooked breakfast sausage filled up the next dozen.  Delicious hand-held breakfast perfection.  The trick really is mixing some syrup right into the batter.  Yummmm.

Pinspire me, baby

Two of our nearest & dearest are expecting their first little girl.  When I heard this I went directly to Pinterest.  Oh, they're coming back to visit for a baby shower?  Back to Pinterest I went for game inspiration!

My obsession with making tutus did not wane after Halloween, so that was going to be a must.  My little dude loves his taggie blanket and there must be instructions for that on Pinterest.  What's this I see?  A kegstand-inspired onesie?  Well, I suppose I HAVE to make that too.
